Our MISSION

Drive growth by automating
care operations

In 2012, two veterans of McKinsey and Stanford saw a crisis taking shape—and an opportunity to make a transformational impact on the healthcare system.

Even then, healthcare’s clinical, technological, and regulatory landscape was becoming increasingly complex—but healthcare operations were struggling to keep up. Today, doctors, nurses, and frontline managers are still struggling to close the gaps, and paying the price in surging levels of burnout.

For 12+ years, that challenge has been our inspiration. We’ve taken modern technologies and proven principles—AI, machine learning, behavioral science, and data science—and applied them to healthcare operations, with results that have made a revolutionary difference for countless healthcare providers and patients.
And that’s just the start of our story. We’re continually innovating ways to simplify how healthcare operates—and what’s next will be even more transformative.

OUR STORY

13+ years of helping those who help others

2012:
Qventus founded

Inspired by hospital operations work at McKinsey, our founding team developed the first AI/ML platform that leveraged real-time hospital data to drive high reliability in healthcare.

2017:
Expanding use cases

After 70+ ED deployments, we transformed the platform to not only analyze real-time data but also identify actionable insights delivered directly to frontline teams. A fall-risk bot reduced falls by 40% via Vocera alerts.

2019:
Expanding to inpatient

As our comprehensive platform took shape, we added prescriptive patient flow packages (including our current Inpatient Capacity Solution) that streamlined deployments and delivered consistent outcomes.

2020:
COVID-19

In response to the pandemic, we developed COVID-19 and Perioperative Solutions to help customers manage ventilator allocation and surgery backlogs. Our pro bono support for the White House Task Force—including ventilator placement predictions—helped save 200+ lives.

2022:
$100M investment

Fueled by sustained outcomes and strong client momentum, we secured $100M in investment funding—including participation from health system partners.

2024:
AIOA launch

Qventus launched our game-changing AI Operational Assistants, high-tech sidekicks that remove administrative burden from care teams across the hospital ecosystem.

2025:
$105M investment

Building on the success of our AI-first care operations automation platform, Qventus secured a $105M investment led by KKR with additional participation from investment firms, strategic investors, and health systems.

2025:
PCC launch

Built to reduce administrative burden on frontline care teams, reduce unnecessary surgery cancellations, and better optimize patients, Qventus launched our Perioperative Care Coordination solution.
